It has the basic, entry level technical specifications including the MediaTek processor, 32GB eMMC flash storage, 2GB memory and Android 10 operating system. Being designed for distance learning of students, especially during the pandemic days, it has the video conferencing capability and comes pre-loaded with the education applications by the well-known award winning teachers or trainers.
The 64-bit quad core Mediatek 8173C processor works at a base speed of 1.3GHz with a turbo speed of 2.4GHz as needed by the tasks. The average CPU Passmark benchmark score is 889 for a mid-range performance. 2GB memory and 32GB local storage are what you can expect at this level and this 32GB storage is expandable up to 128GB through the Micro SD Card Reader. For connectivity it comes with the dual band 802.11bgn wireless, Bluetooth 4.2, 2 x USB 2.0 ports, a USB-C port and a 3.5mm audio jack. It has two decent quality high definition webcams, one of which is a with the privacy filter.

We think that the price tag seems quite reasonable for a good quality 2-in-1 laptop specifically designed for the kids. It is a very compact, lightweight, slim and portable laptop and tablet, 2-in-1 student computer that weighs 3.3 pounds and measures 10.2L x 7.2W x 0.9H inches. The keyboard is conveniently removable to allow the computer to be used in the tablet mode.
10.1-inch high definition touchscreen laptop has the 1280 x 800 pixel resolution which is quite adequate for such a small display. It has an IPS panel with up to 178-degree viewing angles vertically and horizontally. And you have a clear picture quality with the vivid colors and decent contrast. It is easy to set up as you take it out of the box and you just need to follow the Quick Start Manual. Keyboard is comfortable to type on with a design that is suitable for kids’ use- the keyboard size is great for a child’s hands and fingers. The volume and power buttons are a little hard to push but this is not a major issue.
It is shipped swiftly via Amazon.com and you’ll probably receive it within the specified arrival dates on the website. It is a sturdy and durable laptop and tablet and feels a bit heavier than the similar models or the previous version it feels more sturdy and could certainly bear some bumps. It has the tempered glass screen protector and rubber sides to protect from the potential accidents. We still do not recommend any rough treatment.
It is compatible with Net Nanny, being Android 10 as Net Nanny is works with Android 6.x or higher. Apps like Zoom and Google Docs work very well on this machine and you can stream videos off Netflix and Youtube comfortably. The parental controls on this machine are free forever and the app is easy to use with the preset functions. As a parent you can monitor what’s going on and turn off the Scholar from your iPhone or Android smartphone. When your child wants to download an application off Google Play Store he/she needs to get permission. It is quite a decent kids laptop for the price, that is solid and durable, easy to use with good educational content and seems to offer good value for the dollar.
