Azulle A-1062-ABP-1 Byte Plus Fanless Mini PC
Azulle A-1062-ABP-1 Byte Plus is a fanless desktop computer / media center with a full Windows 10, that you can connect to a monitor or your TV. It is a very small but rather heavy mini computer and has a rubbery base for a better grip. Technical specs include a 64-bit quad core Cherry Trail Atom Z8300 processor for efficient running of daily tasks like streaming high definition videos from YouTube, Netflix, Amazon Plus etc. and multitasking smoothly with a 4GB DDR3L SDRAM at 1600MHz (but can not be expanded), 32GB eMMC storage and Win 10 Home 64-bit OS. It comes with an external antenna that you can see on the photo and all ports are located at the rear- a microSD slot, 2 x USB 3.0 ports, 1 x USB 1.0 port, an HDMI output, a VGA port, a Microphone Headphone jack, Ethernet with RJ-45 connector for wired internet and dual band WiFi network adapter of 2.4GHz and 5.0GHz meaning higher speed and larger coverage. This one has the 4GB memory and 32GB eMMC flash storage and you’ll be offered two other versions of 2GB/32GB (40 dollars less) and 4GB/64GB (80 dollars more at the time of this review) depending on your needs. You actually have the flexibility to choose either the Windows 10 Home 64-bit or Linux operating system.
Azulle Byte Plus has a mono case that looks and feels premium and there will be hardly any clutter on your desk, as it is so compact- measures only 4.53 x 1.89 x 4.9 inches and weighs 1.6 pounds. You will need a keyboard and mouse (you may find info on recommended combos on the product page) and obviously an external screen (computer monitor or your HDTV will do). It is something many people would want to use in their main living room, connected to their TVs for streaming HD videos etc., or in their kitchen as it is so small but is also great for web browsing, word processing, spreadsheets and they can turn it easily into an All-in-One. This is quite a smooth running and powerful machine, so you won’t get any lagging or crashes unless you really push it to the limit. It runs Windows 10 and you will feel very comfy with it but remember to update it when you go into Settings as it may come with the older version. It will be fine for light games like WoW and Minecraft but not with the very demanding games as you will need to really lower the settings and there is not much memory storage on it. We like the fanless design and radiates the heat a little bit so it runs quietly and keeps cool unless you use it all day long. You’ll find a “Contact Us” card for customer support, they are Miami, Florida based and there is a tech support number as well. So in the box, you’ll get the warranty card, tech support info, power supply and the actual mini computer. Overall this is a very nice mini desktop / media center at a great price!
